"A Tight Brilliant Gothic Industrial album ! Excellent songs from start to finish!!! "The Story So Far" has an echoed acoustic feel while "Speak By The Cards" has a weird beat and wild sounds. "Harbours And Stations" is an short epic song of love and devotion while "The War Outside" is a slow amazing song which a gothic industrial feel! This is the tightest T21 album and it is timeless. The bootleg of "Joh'Burg" is excellent too as well as the remix of "Another Move" Trisomie 21 is a brillant band! Check out the TRISOMIE 21 home page"

"Like any really great piece of music this CD requires multiple and attentive listening. Forget the "Gothic" nomer used to describe this band. It is really unfair to give them a label like that. While some earlier works by the band sound 80's ish, this CD as well as the "Million Lights" album has a unique, timeless quality that is most difficult to describe. If you crave an intelligent alternative to the stuff you hear on the radio, you need to hear this music."

A worthy successor to Million Lights

"I'll get this tidbit out of the way: Million Lights is T21's best album, 2nd only to The Cure's Disintegration on my list of all-time favorites. That being said, Works heads in more of a commercial-sounding direction. Heavier drums guitar solos and more traditional rock arrangements make for a completely different mood this time around. I don't have too many complaints about this album. The percussion, at times, can sound a bit dated, and a couple of the instrumentals border on mediocre, but there are definitely some T21 classics on here. Tracks such as "The Golden Age", "Betrayed", and "The Missing Piece" helped me embrace the 'harder' sound of this CD, and the live version of "Joh'Burg" was a nice addition, though I'd rather T21 release the whole Official Bootleg recording on its own CD! Oh yeah, "War Outside" is an excellent instrumental. A must-buy for T21 fans, and a good chance to take for the casual listener."
