"I typically like the earlier jump blues stuff and rockabilly, or western swing, however this cd is so charming in the most wacky and demented way. Many of the songs feature the artist telling a story, rather then singing, however the 2nd half of the disc seems to feature more gritty blues, of higher quality, but of lesser camp value. This cd should only be acquired by wierdo jitterbug dancers that want something different to dance to, of for those who want some greasy raw r&b to get drunk to, it is VERY VERY CAMPY, and nothing that amazing, but it is wild, goofy, and loads of fun. Again the later performancrs on the cd have some artistic value, and would qualify as jump blues or just electric blues, with r&b energy. A fun cd, that will appeal to fans of Wynonnie Harris, Bullmoose Jackson, Roy Brown, and Jimmy Reed."
