"I'm surprised that the pairing of Martinu's Symphonies #1&2 is not more common, because they go together wonderfully to create a satisfying 60 minute listening experience. The performances are good, but the recording job could be a little better, but is still good enough for me. If you're interested in getting acquainted with Martinu's exhuberant work, this is a great place to start!"
