"For a band that did the recording themselves (only the final mix down was done by an outside studio)the music is very well done. I only wished that the bass could be heard more through the other sounds so one could really hear what the bassist is playing(probably one of the top 10 best bassists in the NW -- I've seen them live many times and the bassists is incredible! Listen to the bass on Myth and Blue Highway--very cool!).The keys and vocals give it trance-like sounds. Only a few songs had some lyrics that I would consider a little cheesy. The lead singer has a voice of an angel and coupled with the guitars and keys would lull me to sleep (esp. the song A.L.A.). The guitar is very cool too! Going from a more crunchy hard sound on Cage to a blues feel on Myth. Or just check out the song Epidemic with it's eastern feel. This is not a hard crunching album -- it has more of a melancholy feel of lost love and dreams passing by. Definately an album to listen to on a rainy day!
Plus the really cool thing is that it is an interactive CD with games, videos, interviews, and home movies (some quite bizarre) but all together letting you know under that bitter-sweet sadness to the music, they really do have a sense of humor."
