CD ReviewsDance the beat to the disco heat Pieter | Johannesburg | 02/25/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "Sylvester's urgent falsetto voice over the hypnotic synths and syndrums made these tracks the ultimate disco club hits of 1978 -both of them made a respectable impression on the sales charts too. Highly infectious and hook-laden, they represent the best of quality disco infused with real soul, unlike a lot of today's impersonal dance music. Dance (Disco Heat) has a spoken intro and impressive sound effects halfway through that resemble a contained electric storm. Although he released albums into the early eighties, Sylvester never again came close to matching these glorious songs."
