As with the group's recent hit '80s tribute, Re-Members Only, Sylk 130 succeeds in creating both an homage to the era that gave us Funkadelic and the Ohio Players and a timeless collection of soulful songs.

A cleverly blended mix of Old School samples and heavily jazz influenced contributions, this film without a soundtrack refuses to allow itself to be pigeon-holed, surpirising you with a variation of takes on jazz/ funk/ soul fusion, interspersed with dialogues as Sylk 130 takes us through a day in the life of a DJ."
