From the artist's website: "This special four-song project was produced and recorded to depict grief issues shared by mothers (and/or parents) around the globe who have children in harm's way because of war. "A Confident Man" was written for her son who received orders to be deployed into Operation Iraqi Freedom. "Yesterday's Tomorrow" was written and produced by Ms. Taylor to reflect grief recovery. Her interpretation and arrangement of the Negro Spiritual, "Motherless Child" conveys the grief of a mother who perhaps lost her child in war. "Leaders of the Earth" was written from imagined eyes of an alien, or spirit, looking down at the earth in disappointment."
