CD ReviewsGreat summer music pierre-hugues malo | Canada PQ | 01/05/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "This album has a special effect especially if you are near the beach or a swimming pool, it has you by the bating suit, I mean by it that it is a very good album to hear all year long, surfing music at it's best.There are other surfing album but this is the first and only ORIGINAL surfing music that you must get first.
There are several good tracks but the one that is peak is "WIPE OUT" the way it starts with the driving guitar and the loud wipe out lyric has you climbing in the drapes, misirlou and surfaris stomp are excellent and the rendition of other hits are also realy good. It is a great album for all who cherrishes the warmth and feel of beach sand and water under their feet and to others who are enjoying the music and since it has been enhanced by modern technology it is surely a must to get. Really a superb performance by a long gone squad of young guns in their heydays that had the world surfing on their hits." |
