"This has to be one of Country Joe's best albums! Well produced and well written. A good mix of fast and slow blues. Excellent music. Jerry Garcia is on four of the tracks and he is in top form. "Blues For Michael" ( dedicated to Michael Blumefield) and "Tranquility" are two classics. "Tranquility" was written for his dying father. Even without lyrics, this is a tender and moving piece. If you have never gotten into the solo career of this great artist, this is a good place to start.Even if you do not agree with his politics, you can enjoy the great talent found here."
