CD Reviews

Something refreshing
joe riffe | Chicago, IL USA | 02/05/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This album was like a burst of fresh air. I figured I could spare the extra few bucks, so I took a chance, not expecting to really be impressed by what I heard. When I turned on the record, though, I heard one of the best collections of rock and roll music I've heard in a long, long time. It's fun, it's energetic, it's downright exciting- in short it's pure rock and roll.
Fell So Hard is a melodic, kick-butt start to an EP that features four of the best foot-moving rock songs I've heard since the Strokes and OK GO came on the scene not too long ago. They are great not only because of the catchy, original feel to each song, but they don't pretend to be something they aren't- there are no pain-filled power chords about highschool heartbreak, they just want to make you dance and feel good about rock and roll again."
LIVE SHOW

"okay, ive yet to get this album. HOWEVER, i saw them last night, and they were wonderful live.their sound was amazing. walls and walls of feedback and noise, yelling screaming singing. these guys were tight.also incredibly into what they were doing.so if this CD is as bad as the one guy says (maybe it is, but it kinda seems to me like hes just part of the backlash against the recent trend, and speaking out against everyone. hah i bet he likes interpol) i say wait for a full length, or catch them live. right now theyre touring with hot hot heat, so go and check that out, itll be a fun show."
