Spooky, and not OTT

"What's postage got to do with the quality of the recording?!

I love Christopher Lee's presentation of this work. There's more of a "storybook" ambience in this version than others that are over-acted and feeble (OTT=Over-The-Top), despite the incredible talent presenting. I prefer the musicality of Lionel Friend's leadership on this recording, too (and heard he had a heck of a time teaching Mr. Lee to speak in time!)."
