Songs such as "Holding On," and "Storm," as well as live favorite "Pancho and Lefty" illustrate the depth and creativity their early songwriting. Different Waters, like their first CD, Shapeshifting, was recorded on a semi-pro 8-track tape recorder, and retains a homespun sound and charm.
