Stooges with keys

"This is yet another killer album by the stooges (with Williamson). A little more bluesy than the funhouse but it still retains the classic stooges energy plus Iggy's trademark howling and freeform caotic lyrics. The addition of a keyboard is a little disturbing at first but it grew on me and even now seems to accentuate the Williamson's noodling. There are 3 songs repeated from the Raw Power album. "Death trip" and "Hard to beat" seem to be taken directly from the Raw Power album, but there is a different version of the song "Raw power." The real treat however is the unreleased stuff on the rest of the album. If you are a stooges fan, this is a must have. Oh the live cd is terrible. I think Iggy was way too wasted to perform that night. I listened to it once and put it away for good. However dispite the live cd's shortcomings, this cd set is definintly worth buying (the studio stuff is great)."
