CD Reviews

Pretty Good

(4 out of 5 stars)

"The average stone sour fan would rate this 3 STARS. I gave it 4 because i love stone sour and slipknot. If you are a fan who wants to hear all of their music, this is a pretty good item. The only 1 song i think deserves to be on the self titled album of the three unreleased oneds is "the wicked" The beats are heavy and thick. Good collector's item as well."

"When I found out who does this song, I ended up buying the whole Spiderman soundtrack to get it. It smokes. I have always been one for some dark and haunting melodies (along with my Nsync and Britney Spears) and this low-power-ballad definetly has got the goods.
Now being pop fan, I am not into all that screaming "torture rock" now (AC/DC or Offspring are fine but that's different, it's more of a party screaming thing). So when someone told me that Corey Taylor is the lead singer of Slipknot (I heard Wait and Bleed) I was all "Whoa" because there is no screaming in this song like that of in Slipknots songs.
The lyrics are dark and cryptic but I actually could relate to the last verse "Wish I'd died, instead of lived, a zombie as my face. A shell forgotten with it's memories and diaries left with cryptic entries".
By far my favorite rock song this year!"
