Terrific marriage of tango and jazz

"This CD, "Tango", is a terrific marriage of tango and jazz. Carlos Franzetti has captured the essence of tango perfectly and has recreated it for jazz orchestra. I've never heard anything else quite like this. Franzetti's work can also be heard on David Sanchez's CD, "Obsesion", to great effect. The Stockholm Jazz Orchestra plays tango very convincingly, and the soloists do a fine job with this concept. But make no mistake, this is Franzetti's session all the way - a real winner.
