Album Description
Vinyl Dog Records is proud to bring you the official reissue of The Stitches' ground breaking "8 X 12" 1995 release. This is the record that kick-started 1990's punk rock revival in Southern California. "8 X 12"'s importance to modern punk rock cannot be overstated: these songs have been a major influence on bands all around the world. The vinyl version continues to be pressed and repressed, and to date has sold over 5,000 copies without proper distribution.

CD Reviews

Terrific snotty old-school style punk rawk
punkviper | Pittsburgh, PA USA | 08/15/2000
(4 out of 5 stars)

"A band that doesn't get a whole lotta press (except from Duane Peters and the US Bombs) but should, as they produce some perfect punk rock. Very '77-ish, catchy, not too fast, great for singalongs and pogo-ing. And I should mention that The Stitches are a totally different band from L.E.S. Stitches. The Stitches are the real deal, LES Stitches sound like a bad Rancid record. The only drawback to this CD is the brevity, only 8 songs. BUT it's the only CD that The Stitches have currently available, so do yourself a favor and pick it up."
