"If I'd popped this into my CD player without knowing what it is, I probably would have assumed it was a sampler from some record company featuring 9 of its best guitarists. But, it's not; this CD is all Steve Trovato. Not since Danny Gatton have I heard a guitarist who is able to play so many different styles so well. This CD has smokin' country stomps, soulful blues, and New Age acoustic ballads. Despite the radical change from one style to the next, the CD has a definite continuity in that it's all great music. Steve is one of those guitarists who serves up the flashy licks without getting in the way of the song. He's the star, but he's willing to share the spotlight on a couple of tracks with some outstanding vocalists, and the backing musicians all get a chance to show what they can do throughout the entire recording. For guitar people who just want to hear good music, this CD is very satisfying."

"Steve Trovato demonstrates his mastery of several musical genres ranging from blues to latin Jazz to country two-step in this CD. He plays a telecaster, but with a 'meatier' tone than is usually heard in most telecaster recordings. The entire album is enjoyable, but I would love to hear him devote one album to a particular style. Very impressive and listenable."
