Former Japan band member and regular David Sylvian collaborator Steve Jansen releases his astonishing solo album on Samadhi Sound this Autumn. The album features guest contributions from Sweet Billy Pilgrim, Thomas Feiner, Anja Garbarek, Nina Kinert, David Sylvian, Theo Travis and Joan Wasser (Joan As Policewoman). Presented as ever in a beautiful digipak featuring exquisite artwork from Australian artist Dan McPharlin and designed by Chris Bigg. Wonderful and subdued

"I saw Steve Jansen in an Anja Garbarek concert in 2002. Coincidentally she appears in one of the tracks of this release, as does Jansen's brother the fantastic David Sylvian (the record is actually released through his label).

This is an intimate and delicate record, made of small sounds that create a very soothing atmosphere. It reminded me of some of the work that Harold Budd and David Sylvian have done, but it has it's own personality. I really have enjoyed it tremendously and I hope Steve Jansen continues to release more music."
