This is No Ordinary Record..

"Bravo!!Stephen Reso's "Ordinary Life" is an extra-ordinary rock CD leaving you captivated by his strong craftsmanship of song writing, real life authentic lyrics and a resonating soulful voice. Reso displays a diverse sample of influences while maintaining a core continuity that makes this record strong and flow from start to finish. From the radio friendly title cut to the punk influenced "DemiGod", from the dark raspy crooning of "Not Gonna Live" to the raw acoustic masterpiece "Too Close To Hide", and from the grinding reality of "Bite" to the bitter-sweet gem "Breaking Everything", this record is a must have for any modern rock fan."I Was The One", "You Had It All" and "Make Up Your Mind" are all solid straight-forward rock songs that could easily be played on a majority of modern rock radio stations across the country. "Not That Stupid" is a remake of his own work recorded while being the front man for the Underground Cartoons. This darker-edged rendition breathes new life into the song and is even better this time around. Last but not least, "Cry" and "Beat Slowly Down" exposes a profound and more personal side to Reso's life that grabs and drags you along with him at will.Reso's presence on-stage is always tremendous and his first full-length CD enhances his reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the recording industry. I look forward to his tour and next record."

"Stephen Reso is a modern day Rimbaud. "Hearse of my lovely sleep, Shepard's cart of my stupidity...The vehicle spins on the grass of an overgrown highway; In a blemish high on the right window, Resolve pale lunar fictions, breasts and leaves." Those words were written around 1873. Reso echoes to the music world what Rimbaud echoed to the poetry world. Reso floats through our world escavating all periods of time that have no end to them, and fatal endings we anticipate. A period of time - a day, an hour, a year - and that will end, the season will turn, and all will be over. We look in vein for some eternal moment, for happiness, felicity, that state of bliss that will go on for ever and ever. This is the landscape that Reso surveys. No one should be left out."

"Stephen Reso is a wonderful artist. The Cd covers so many different sounds and no song sounds like another one on the CD. The words he writes are amazing. What a great new artist. How can I hear more from Stephen Reso?"
