I LIKE IT!!

"Stephen's voice is sharp and clear. I've watched "7th
Heaven" from the beginning. When he started singing on the show, I wondered
why he didn't release a CD himself. Finally it's here. Stephen sings these songs
naturally. None of that showing off of high pitch notes that some singers do. None
of that oooohhh wweee like they got something caught in a blender. Interesting
choices he made on the songs. I've always loved the oldies and to hear a man sing
"Crazy", well, ...........I like it. I also like the song "Will You Love Me Tomorrow"
and from a woman's point of view, it's nice to hear a man sing it. Other favorites
are "Till I Kissed You". Gotta love that beat. I never thought many performers
could sing an "Elvis" song well..."Rock A Hula Baby" is superb!! Gotta love that
bopping around you can do to the beat of this song. Overall.............I LIKE IT!!"

"An excellent actor performs some of my favorite songs in the genre of vintage rock and roll, doo-wop, and ballads. What could be better! 'Hello, Mary Lou' is the best. Even if you don't know Stephen from his TV show '7th Heaven', this album soars above all other old music CD's of this type. Buy it as soon as you can!Track 1. Looking For an Echo (3:34)2. Will You Love Me Tomorrow? (3:42)3. Til I KIssed You (2:28)4. Mr. Blue (2:48)5. What's Your Name (2:16)6. Fools Rush In (2:35)7. True Love Ways (2:57)8. Sandy (2:28)9. Crazy (4:08)10. "I was afraid Stephen would turn out to be a Pat Boone knock-off, but he's awesome! He rocks like Rick Nelson and rolls like Nat King Cole. And he does all the vocals, including falsettos and bass, himself. When you glance at the song list, it might look odd, but every cut is unique and perfectly delivered. I'm just amazed. An extra bonus is Stephen's humor, which comes through in some of the music, but mostly in the liner notes, which are a must-read! If you remember when the oldies were newies, you'll love this."
