Synopsis

Album Description
Here comes one of the most highly anticipated King Street artist CD?s in the label?s history. Stephanie Cooke has been an artist on the King Street roster since her debut single in September of 2001. Virtually EVERY track on Everything has recieved rave reviews by the dance and urban music press around the world including UK magazines such as DJ, iDJ, Echoes, Blues & Soul, including a feature in the UK urban lifestyle newspaper New Nation. In the US, Stephanie?s been reviewed in Billboard, XLR8R, BPM Culture, Big Shot, DJ Times and more. The album opens up with "Rain"; a huge Top 3 Billboard Hot Dance Music Club Play Chart single as well as getting #1 on the DJ Mag Hype Chart. Everything also contains other stunning singles including the title track, remixed by 95 North, "I Thank You" remixed by almighty house producers Blaze, "If I Have to Change" (remixed by DJ Spinna), "Here with My Best Friend" reprise mix by none other than Masters At Work?s "Little" Louie Vega. The album also features Stephanie?s current underground hit "I Never Told You (You Could Stay)", remixed by Latin soul master Frankie Feliciano. Seamlessly remixed by the variable who?s who in soulful dance music, Stephanie Cooke?s Everything will be all you?ll ever need for a night of beautifully soulful melodies, loose rhythms, and righteous heavenly vocals.

A Future Dance Classic!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I originally got this cd based on the remixers rather than the artist herself. Fortunately I was introduced to one of the strongest performers out there right now. This cd should have been called "Jewelry Box" because it is full of gems. For the first time in a long time the artist's voice is center stage on a dance cd. The producers and remixers set the perfect backdrops for Stephanie's strong yet subtle lead vocals and tightly woven harmonic background vocals. There are no over the top vocals or over-produced anthems here and it doesn't need either of the two. There is a classic vibe to the cd, but it still manages to elude sounding dated. This is what dance music should be. This cd is going to be hard to follow-up on."
