No Sibling Rivalry Here

"From the moment I put "Loser Friendly" into my disc player until the time I took it out (one week later) I was blown away by the killer power pop hooks and incredibly structured strings. Lyrically speaking Simon Steadman possesses the most poignant and genuine songwriting talents since John Lennon. How refreshing it is to be able to listen to an entire c.d. all the way through and actually feel every song. Most bands nowadays package a radio hit around nine other half-ass songs. Not Steadman. This disc is packed with ten potential radio hits, but until radio programmers wise up, you'll just have to settle for being the coolest kid on your block. What a treat it is to hear a talented band from England that doesn't engage in the self-indulgent media warbling and quibling that Oasis does. Not to mention on this album you don't have to navigate your way through drunk unintelligible lyrics sung without passion...Liam.Steadman is the real deal. Buy this album. You won't regret it. Catch them on tour this summer if you can. They rule!"

"I bought both of these albums after hearing a short snippet of the band on SMALLVILLE. They quickly became part of my "play-it-over-and-over-again" collection."

"This is really one of those cds that you can listen to over and over again. I play my cds in my coffee shop, and get asked about this cd almost every time. I think if you like a band like Travis, you would find this cd appealing."
