Starz, Violation, Attention Shoppers and Coliseum Rock. Each re-mastered CD contains bonus tracks, including rare demos and unreleased songs as well as expanded artwork and previously unseen photos. New liner notes written with input from guitarist Richie Ranno tell the entire history of Starz in four chapters, one included with each CD. A special added bonus makes the series a must-have for collectors: when all four CD spines are lined up together, they form the original Starz logo!
Fun Memories and Music From the 70's

"I'd actually give this album three and 1/2 stars. When I think of Starz, I tend to think of fun melodic music from the mid seventies. They opened for quite a few big bands in the their day and won over a still-faithful legion of fans. Starz was never a big commercial success, but they did manage to put out five albums of material. Released in 1976, this is the band's first album. On this album are several songs that became staples in the band's live shows: "Detroit Girls," "Boys In Action," "Fallen Angel," and "Pull The Plug."I recently bought a copy for myself since I missed the Metal Blade releases from the late 80's/early 90's (nice collector's items!), and am impressed with the sound quality. There could be some more information included with this release, but I'm not too picky; I'm just glad the album got to see the light of day again!"
STARZ Rocks !

"The 1st Starz album I picked up was their 1978 release"Coliseum Rock", only on the strength of the cover, loved the album as one of the few a** kickin' albums of the era.Subsequently sought out the other albums'"Violation",a futuristic concept album w/some hard rockers most notably,"Subway Terror",about a drugged up psycho terrorizing the underground labrynths of the
NY subway. The next album was,"Attention Shoppers",which has a pop feel but also has some really cool songs like,"X-ray Specs"(I can see right through you baby !).Finally brings me to strangely enough my last Starz acquisition, which is their 1st
album, which is being reviewed here. This album is arguably the guy's best & has them soundly beating their label mates Kiss @ their own game, not to mention one of the coolest album covers in the history of hard rock ! If you can't find their stuff go to starzcentral.com & all the CD's are there + more."
