Pros and Cons

"PROS: Top notch playing of 10 standards. It's not Return to Forever or anything groundbreaking. Patrice Rushen sounds great, like McCoy Tyner. The Bonus DVD has great coverage of at least two complete tunes being recorded in the studio.

Cons: 1) The CD cover lists 12 tunes, but the CD only has 10 tunes.

2) The drums are mixed so loud. If you want to hear Ndugu Chancler drumming, here's a textbook. If you want to hear a GREAT acoustic trio mix, this CD might frustrate you. 3)The Bonus DVD also has the three players in interviews sort of whining about the current state of the record business.
