"I have all the Stan Whitmire cds that are available. This is by far his best cd. When i played it for the first time i "fell in love" again. Wowl, this cd has taken my breath away. There doesn't seem to be a bad song on this offering, which is unusual. I hope in the future Stan will try to duplicate this effort. I think we need to give Stan a big applause for this cd. Stan, keep up the good work!"

"This recording is very well done. It captures the spirit, beauty and longing of the originals. "Superstar" is especially wonderful. Stan Whitmire is excellent in delivering the purity of a song in all his performances. I first heard his work on the "Classic Movie Love Songs" CD. His performance of the theme from "The Color Purple" was incredible.Fans of Richard and Karen Carpenter's music and lovers of romantic music in general will love this CD. It is a faithful and touching piano tribute. Beautiful graphics on the cover and disc as well."
