CD Reviews

The first six albums by Squeeze are still good as ever
Richard Bradley (FlamingHat@aol.com | CT, USA | 08/29/1998
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Even if the last six Squeeze albums can still be found every once in a while, "Squeeze", "Cool For Cats", "Argybargy", "East Side Story", Sweets From A Stranger", and "Cosi Fan Tutti Frutti" seemed impossible to find until this box set came out. Each of the first six Squeeze CDs is included in this package, as well as a booklet that has more information about the band and "Six of One" than you'll ever need to know. Each CD is digitally remastered for great sound quality, and two bonus tracks have been tacked on to all of the six albums. To Squeeze fans out there who want to get their hands on these albums, they had better get this box set. Once this is out of print, they may not be available again for a long time."
Early Squeeze is the Best Squeeze

"How great it is to get all these early Squeeze classics. What makes it all worth the while is the inclusion of "Cosi Fan Tutti Frutti". I feel that is one of the most underrated Squeeze works of all time. It is very soulful both musically and lyrically and really moves me. The indespensible "ArgyBargy" and "East Side Story" are included here also. Perefect collection of classic Squeeze."
