Run & Get This!!!!

(4 out of 5 stars)

"OK, so I wasn't really crazy about their previous cd endeavor: "THE MAN", but I am waaaaay impressed with this one! GALORE GALORE has them back to their 1995-1999 shredding form (Wax Ecstatic/New Pop Sunday).

Vinnie & the boys are back! I saw them preview a couple of songs last year @ the Dragonfly in Hollyweird, California & they kicked major butt! Party 'Till You Drop & Wasted were new & full of energy. The songs on this new shiny piece of silver plastic are very very good. Yeah underline that!

Best songs, in my humble opinion are: Skill Of The Kill, Timebomb USA, Party Till We Drop, Wasted & Hard To Keep My Cool. Hey, I like 'em fast & raw! The other ones are solid & even a couple of ballads on here make it a well rounded effort. I am glad they finally released something new, I was getting the SPONGE Itch & if you like to hear their songs on cd, they are even better live....

Hopefully, Vinnie & Company will come to Sunny Southern California to do a tour??? Possibly a double bill with? Oh how 'bout PUDDLE OF MUD? BUCKCHERRY? FOO FIGHTERS? ALTER BRIDGE? C'mon get out of snowy Detroit & get Cali to work on your tans guys?? haha!

Anyway I whole heartedly recommend this new Galore Galore cd & I give it 4 out of 5 stars, just because I want all the songs to be fast & shredding...."

"Galore Galore combines Sponge's catchy melodies, most recently heard on For All The Drugs In The World, with the harder edged sound of their last offering, The Man. Like William Shatner's singing "Has Been", "Flop" should be the single that pushes Vinnie back into the limelight. Through "I Did it Without the Drugs," "Through the Hard Times," and "Flop," Dombroski delivers intimate insights without delving into self-pity. The result is a great album that is uniquely personal and critical. And it rocks."
