The Beard is out there ... Amazing Stuff

"Way before these products (DVD & CDs) hit the stores, I had ordered both of these. I am a BIG Spock's Beard FAN. This band, DVD, CDs do not disappoint.

SONGS: There is a good mixture of older and newer tunes. My highlight picks would be: In The Mouth Of Madness, Crack The Big Sky, Slow Crash Landing Man, Drum Duel, As Far As The Mind Can See (all 4 parts), and Rearranged. With that said, there is not a bad song on here.

DVD/CD SOUND: This is a top notch production. You can here everything. Nothing is burried in the mix. This is one of the BEST (if not the BEST) sounding live DVDs I have ever heard.

VIDEO QUALITY. I say again. This is a top notch production. When someone is playing a solo, you get to see them actually playing the solo. Some DVD give me a nervous feeling from all of the camera switching. This does not do that to me at all. The picture is crisp.

MUSICIANSHIP: These guys are spot on. They are excellent musicians. Nick does an excellent job as, singer, guitar player, keyboard player, and drummer. Alan is a great guitar player, and he does some nice harmony vocals. Dave does a great job at bass, keyboards, and background vocals. Ryo, as always, is impressive as a keyboardist. Jimmy is a great drummer, and he handles harmony vocals very well.

BOTTOM LINE: If you are a Beard fan, you must own these produscts. If you are not a fan of The Beard, get this, and you will be a fan."
