HE DID IT AGAIN

"SPM is the best MEXICAN rapper!! No ONE could ever beat that!"
Best CD of the Year

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Yes that title is true. Among the best rap cd's of the year (Kottonmouth Kings, Threee-Six-Mafia, Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, C-Murder) there is no doubt this is the best. I just heard of SPM so this is the first album I've bought of his. Now I realize I've missed alot of good rap the past few years. Dopehouse can really turn out phat beats and smooth rhymes. The best songs are every song except for 14. Get this cd and you will wear it out I promise"
SPM: Originality in Hip-Hop!
kazbrooch | Villain, BC (Canada) | 12/15/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"With so much of the same thing in hiphop, and everyone bitin' on everyone else's stuff, it's so refreshing to find an artist that goes against the grain, and creates a unique sound and style that defies definition. SPM (or 'south park mexican') is doing something musically right now, that no one else in his genre (hiphop) is even remotely close to. His ruff growly voice flows effortlessly over laid back funk tracks and melodic bounce beats continuously througout the album. Truly an original artist, SPM represents Houston and raps of a tuff ghetto life and comin up in 'hustle town'. But his lyrics reflect a different outlook than most rappers in 2000; instead of 'flossin' with 'ice' and 'hoes', SPM delivers clever writings filled with humorous quirks and slanguage. The best songs on the album are by far 'coutry life', 'burn us alive', 'something i would do', 'hes a bird hes a plane', 'hillwood hustlaz' and the title track.Signed to the same record label as recent rookie rap sucess Nelly (universal records) SPM deserves to go as far as the St. Louis native did earlier this year. And with the right marketing and a hit single video, he might do just that. This album is definitely on my top 5 rap list for 2000! (and believe me i've heard a lot of albums this year...)"
