Took em too long for 2nd release but worth it!!!!

(4 out of 5 stars)

"It's short and sweet. It has really only 3 tracks since the 3rd song is like... instumental. So if your a casual spitfire listener... it may not be worth your trouble BUT!!! If you have heard their other material and enjoy it then you have NO EXCUSE not to find it and buy it!

The first track is strong and the lyrics are great. The track title says it all "This Ain't Vegas And You Ain't Elvis". Awsome song.

Now "Bulletproof And Tall As Jesus" is my favorite on the cd and seguies nicely into "the sideshow Whiplash" which is the title track, but oddly enough is an... instumental techno/jazz/melodic piece... But together the two tracks are perfect!

The 4 short cd ends with... probably the most brutal song "Herion" which is like... if the singer is the both the drug talking and the person who needs it?...? Anywho, a solid track and very heavy!

The quality in the recording is an improvement from "dead next door" and they sound like they are more confident in their playing.

I love Spitfire and was disapointed after their cd "Dead next door" because they took so long I feared they would be no more but... this cd, and their new one, just prove that they are alive and awsome!"
