Less glitter, more jazzy...

"One-off 70's curio by most of the musicians (sans Mick Ronson) who accompanied David Bowie during the Ziggy Stardust/Alladin Sane period finally comes out on CD! The guitar duties are taken up by David Black, and vocal chores are handled by Pete McDonald. Bowie enthusiasts be warned: this album does not contain any Bowie-penned songs, nor is it a continuation of the "Ziggy Stardust" concept, either musically or stylistically. However, taken on its own merits,Mike Garson, Woody Woodmansy, Trevor Boulder and Co. do show thier formidable chops and thier own songwriting abilities here. A solid effort, even showing some jazz-pop leanings at times, especially on the album's stand-out tune "Rainbow". Obscure 70's rock enthusiasts (I know you're out there!) should probably snap one up as I suspect it will only be a limited release."

"This is an great album and had to track down on CD just for the song "Prisoner" that was written and played so well. One of a kind. But then also several other songs are still to be found that had the unique signature of a great guitar player that holds his own today in my view.

Recording quality is excellent on this euro made Cd..Enjoy."
