"This early grouping of songs made the band what it was - one of the romantic movement's greats, until they penned the song 'True' and ruined it all. Give this one a spin and you'll soon see why. Pay particular attention to "To Make A Long Story Short" & the incredible club fave "Muscle Bound". This CD almost makes you want to out & get an asymetrical haircut & some eyeliner. DON'T DO IT!!!! But do pick this up if you can find it!!!"

"I bought this on vinyl 23 years ago and then purchased on CD as IMHO it's their best album. This is the only album I own by the Spandau Ballet as all subsequent albums were a little too "pop" for my taste. Don't get me wrong, all their albums are good, but this is their best."
