CD Reviews

WingMakers Chamber 11-17
Sue Becker | Denver, CO | 10/31/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I found the wingmakers.com website first and then listened to the music from Chambers 1-10. I loved it... unfortunately I can't find the music. So, I tried this CD and absoltely loved it. I like Enigma, Dead Can Dance, Enya, music like that, and I'd have to say that this is better. It has more interesting rhythms and percussion, and the melodies are more engaging. The native chants are great as are the female vocals. It's my new favorite CD. You can play it over and over and never get burned out by it."
Chamber Music activates higher consciousness
Gerry Starnes | 05/22/2001
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This collection is the second of three volumes of materials...Each track is matched to one of 23 chambers (the chambers are part of an archaeological find from the extra terrestrial future or a wonderfully crafted myth for our times?). Each chamber contains the musical notation (decoded), a mural/art, poetry and philosophy (supposedly in a non-terrestrial language in code which has been "broken") and a mysterious piece of technology.Wonderful percussion, excellent musicianship, some tracks really fire the imagination and wake up the mind, others seem more mechanical and somewhat formulaic music for a new age gathering. Shades of Loreena McKennett mixing Native American aboriginal with a sprinkling of middle eastern, celtic and east indian influence. If you loved the wingmakers website, you'll enjoy the music. First Source (chambers 1-10) is the most musically accessible and Wingmakers Volume 3 has the most complex (and activating) tracks. I cannot specify a favorite among the three."
