Rollins has seldom recorded a bad album and this is right up there with the great ones: Our Man In Jazz, Sonny Rollins On Impulse and The Bridge. The album won the then equivalent of the French Grammies in the jazz category. However, DON'T MISS the incredible version of "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot", where Rollins jams with bagpipe genius Rufus Harley for a long, unique and wonderful track. The other titles are less spectacular, but its all good Rollins - what more can I say?"
