Misleading use ot THE SNOWMAN image and title

"I bought this 3-disc collection fully believing that it contained the authentic music from the children's beloved video, THE SNOWMAN. Raymond Briggs' book was equally as memorable, but the music is what set this non-speaking video apart from all the rest. What a terrible surprise we were in for when upon playing the track, "Walking in the Air" we heard an amatuerish male/female duo trying unsuccessfully to croon away the lyrics. tsk tsk tsk. They did NOT deliver the moving rendition from the film and it sounds basically like a Musak version.



The fact that the distributor of this compilation uses THE SNOWMAN photos from the film, to lead the consumer to believe they are buying the beautiful musical score, is a shame since once you open and play the cd you cannot return it.



Upon hearing each disc I concluded that the music is pleasant enough, but so repeitious after a few tracks that you will toss this one in the back of your CD case and not pull it out again for a long while, if at all. Totally disappointing and misleading! Shame on this company for such a misleading representation!"
