A Totally New Approach

"For Pump-Action Animation, "I Am One" is tops. If only words could describe the honesty, craftsmanship, lyrical depth and soul searching power of Smashing Pumpkins. "I Am One" is awesome. Like, the band has a lot of good albums, but this is awesome. It's got a couple of good songs, but the ones that I like best are #2, #8, and #11. Tracks #9 and #12 are so great that they make you want to get up and do something. Like, when I listen to these songs, I'm amazed how different they sound in the same sort of way.My advise: If you want some thinking music with words that make you think (and forget that you ever heard of the Law of Diminishing Marginal Returns) get "I Am One". Believe you me, there's nothing around this smart except maybe Driver's Ed. Some listeners may not appreciate the totally new approach to heavy metal and rap, but I'm certain that you will. Wilbur and Orville were laughed at too at Kitty Hawk. Did they quit? Heck no, they went on to invent those tiny bags of inedible peanuts and lavatories meant only for midgets. First Class music for the Economy Class. Do we deserve anything less?During the Gulf War, Iraqi prisoners where forced to listen to "I Am One" 24 hours a day. Allied forces called it "Physiological Destabilization." When the war ended, and the prisoners were returned home, I.Q. tests revealed that they had lost eighteen-percent of the cognitive abilities. I'll bet you didn't know that fact!"

"TRINITY. Awesome song, AWESOME BAND, and Aweseome single. The awesome song is I am one. I am one starts in with drumming, and then a dissensionental bLaSt of heavy-guitar. Then the lyrics, 'I am one as you are three, try to find a messiah in your trinity, your city to burn your city to burn, you'll burn'. good song. The AWESOME BAND is Smashing Pumpkins, and we ALL know that they are the BEST band ever, its just that some of us are afraid to admit it (MTV hosts and crew, a.k.a., DUMB*****). They are my favorite band ever. The Awesome Single is I am one, and it includes the songs I Am One, Plume, and Starla!!! In my opinion, the B-Sides are even better than the song itself. Plume I listen to just about every week, and Starla is just an amazing medely of guitars for nothing but 10 minutes and 59 seconds of ravishing lovely compassion. The lyrics in Plume are astounding. 'My boredom has outshined the sun, its so down low, i just want to have some, little fun'. Get this single you wont regret it...oh yeah, and has anybody heard the DEMO version of I Am One? Yeah, I'm talkin bout the one on the 7" vinyl I am one with the b-side "Not Worth Asking". It is AWESOME! instead of regular drums they got like congos and stuff its awesome!"
