Lean & mean rock with punk attitude

"If the Doors had played punk with Heavy Metal riffs, they would have probably sounded like this group. Their next album "Rattlesnake Bite" is still my favorite but it can be very difficult to find, especially in the US. From today's perspective, they might be seen as precursors to Grunge but they sound original! I believe all fans of the Cult and Ian Astbury should definetely check out this band."

"These guys were great, this album rocks -- pure snarl and attitude. You can definitely hear where Mudhoney got their particular groove from in the sounds of Smack. You can't go wrong with any of the songs on this album, to be honest."
