Two Young Stars on the Rise!

"These two fine American artists have become the operatic rage all across Europe, including triumphant performances at Wagner's own Bayreauth. Both are extremely musical with what sounds like a wealth of voice to spare. It seems to me that not since Melchior and Flagstad (not that I'm comparing the voices) have we heard two great Wagnerian singers, tenor and soprano, reaching their prime together, in partnership. This could very well be a joyous era for Wagner, the likes of which we haven't heard for decades."
