This album is a re-recording of some of Slim's work during the '60's, 70's and early 80's and a good collection it is. It shows the great love and respect he has for his country. He is a great story teller and historian. Anyone who hears this collection for the first time will be entranced. Slim has recorded over 1000 songs (most of them his own writings) and in june this year, he recorded his 100th album with EMI...which is a world record for an artist contracted to one company.
