"Putting Perez Hilton aside... and knowing that fact that where this kid is from has nothing to do with anything... this is different and refreshing. I'm very critical of a lot of the new mainstream "music" these days but this I LOVE. It'd be great to see this blow up here in the States. He has his own groove, style and even personality. He reminds me of an 80s Prince meets maybe Lady Gaga kinda sorta...a unique 80s sound with a current makeover maybe? Def. listen to the music before writing it off for an not-music-related reason! Start with 'Wake Up' on youtube until samples are available on Amazon. :)"

"Quite possible the worst album of 2009. I listened to the album a few times to see if it was a grower and it never did. Perez describes the music as "good, adult, quirky pop," but the only thing I hear is music for a Saturday morning kids show."
