Sleepy Rocks....Yes He Does!!!

"Once again Bear Family comes through with a real gem.This single cd is jammed with 35 songs,and comes with nice booklet which contains several great pictures of Sleepy as well as detailed discography info.Nothing cheap about this --just knowing that Bear Family is behind this release tells you that you should buy this in confidence.All of the early classics are here in one place.

This cd covers 1956-1979 and the sound quality is amazing!!Keep in mind though, these are the original recordings...and are taken from vintage analogue tapes.You may hear some hiss/distortion,but Bear Family engineers have taken every step to provide optimum sound.

Don't hesitate to pick this up and turn the volume up loud.Sleepy's big booming voice will remind you that this is what music should be--not the garbage thats on the radio today.Long Live Sleepy Labeef!!!!
