Synopsis

Album Description
Ticket Back is the long awaited compilation from the band that became one of the greatest exponents of a new, multi-faceted musical extrapolation of bluegrass. Now their music is back to light up the air, like a million watts surging out of a metropolis, like sunlight dancing down a long, fast southern road. --Richard Smith, from his liner notes Sixteen tracks, including two newly recorded bonus tracks.

Progressive Bluegrass for the Soul
RON GLUCK | BROOKLYN, NEW YORK USA | 11/04/2000
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Tony`s extraordinary facility and inventive style continually thrills me. At times I loose the key they`re in but we are always brought back home. Dede`s voice touches my soul especially the images in"stranded".She is on a par with Linda Thompson and Maddy Prior. Larry`s incredible arrangements and solid bass playing holds it rock steady.Barry`s obvious classical training and eastern european sole makes him the tastiest mandoline player yet.Danny`s guitar playing is both rhythmic and clean and vocal harmonies tight as can be. Ive been listening to Skyline for 10+ years,it remains one of my all time favorites along with "The Harder they Come", because I never get tired of either and the thrill remains. What you hear recorded, was duplicate live,a tribute to their musicianship and dedication. My heart broke when you guys split."
