In 'Blue Sky City' computers fall in love, kids boogie every which way, children celebrate each other and help each other have the spirit of a winner, and, after saying good-bye in a dozen languages, lush lullabies lull each child to sleep.'Blue Sky City' is indubitably the best album for kids ever!! Your youngest toddlers will be tugging on your shirttails saying 'kip, kip, kip' (until they develop that 's' sound), and your 10 year old daughter will be rockin' her slumber party. The real triumph on this music is the way Skip West naturally invites kids to join in the music while neither patronizing them, nor talking over their heads, but reaching out their best caring and playful qualities on their level. And the music is so complete and rich with great vocal performances by Skip, many children soloists and choirs, and layered arrangements that bear repeated, enjoyable listening by adults too. I know some parents that play 'Blue Sky City' even when their kids aren't around, just cause its such a lift.If there is a child you care for in your life, then take him or her on a trip to Blue Sky City.
