CD Reviews

One of the best albums I own!!!

"I bought this album from one of the girls working at the airport mall in Recife in Brazil.. I could barely hear it on the overhead, and asked (as well as I could) who the artist was. She told me, but there was no music stores in the small mall. Five minutes later she came running out of the store and asked me if I wanted to buy the one she had, I said, "sim!" It was all scratched up and skipped on two of the songs, and here I am on amazon buying the album again, this time with the jewel case and cover!!!! Great upbeat without getting too cheesy. Great mix of guitars acoustic and electric and almost hip-hop beats."
Great CD! Excelent!

"If you expect this is a latin music, like samba, salsa, forget about it. Its a pop/rock brazilian group, with some reggae. This group is very popular in Brazil and America Latina, and if you buy, you'll like it."
Skank- the new direction

"If you're looking for more of the same great happy pop from Skank, turn away now. This new sound is more acoustic, more grunge, more folk-rock than the previous danceable reggae-tinged pop that caught my attention. While the sound is a departure from the other albums, it is still a likeable sound. It doesn't excite or motivate unexpected dancing fits like the older stuff, but it makes good background music."
