Forever - Simon Bonney

"What has happened to this guy's career is a crime. This Australian expatriot was an early crony of Nick Cave when Bonney fronted the band Crime and the City Solution. Both of his solo albums are now out of print but are well worth the effort to track down used. His second release, Everyman is an absolutely fantastic record based on Bonney's recent move to the states and travelling around the country in an old car. This record is almost that good. His deep baritone will hold your attention much like Mr. Cave's without the old testament references. A great artist with no marketable career, unfortunately this is a story that seems to happen again and again."
