CD Reviews

The group that took the 5th step into Rock`n`Roll R Back !!

"You either loved Sigue Sigue Sputnik or hated them. But what ever your views you could never forget them. In many ways this group were ahead of their time, mixing films, classical music, technology and any other gadget that every kid wanted to own. Quickly dissmised as sounding the same` - That ws the whole idea didn`t you get it ? - The group was soon to fall from grace. But 15 years or so later their back. Now living in the world of cyberspace, the perfect place for them, they`ve released their 3rd album that will surprise those of you that are willing to give it a chance.A mixture of nu-tek (welocme to the 21st centuary), vocoder (cyber thief), Eddie Cockeren guitar riffs (everybody loves you) , Marc Bolan from the 21st centuary (slave trade) and that same sputnik style. They`ve moved on again, still 3 steps ahead of the pack. Make no mistake this IS Rock`n`Roll for the new millenium. Take a risk, take a chance. This is music for the car stero, with your windows down with the volume level cranked up to 11. Buy it, own it, play it.a most welcome return from one of earth`s the greatist groups."

"welcome to the 21st century, everybody loves u, alien@ation and alien christ are really good. the rest are ok/not so good. they're style has changed to fit the newer style of electronic music. slower beats, lyrics that flow into each other (not like flaunt it with random words that happen to rhyme), it's a matured sound but under-produced. if you're a sputfan get it, you'll like enough of it."
