"All the live tracks that are included on this compilation are from Sid Sings which was released on Virgin Records. I think the songs were recorded at Max's Kansas in New York (not sure of the date though) from October 1978 I think Sid did two shows at Max's Kansas which I think was released as an album called Sid dead live. Considering only three live shows with Sid as a solo artist exists the 2 dates he played at Max's Kansas and the sole gig at Camden's Electric Ballroom in London, UK as the Vicious White Kids buy Too fast to Live and the Vicious white kids on sanctuary records (its the same great quality recording that was released previously by receiver records and includes a 30 minute interview with Glen Matlock and Rat Scabies) its really all the Sid you are going to need anyway. Stay far away from the release called viva le rock the sound quality is crap sounds like someone recoreded it from a tape recorder (however there is a warning saying that the shows were not professionally recorded) Anyway if you are a Sid fan this is worth a look 5 stars RIP John Simon Beverly/Richie aka Sid 1957-1979"
I've heard it all before...

"Great cd.I don't even own it.You know why?I looked on the tracklist, and they're basically the same songs on the other Sid Vicious CDs ("Sid Sings",for example)I've heard basically every song on here.I heard they have Sid's suicide letter in the booklet.Oh yeah, and I also heard this CD was released by EMI (ironic). But if you don't have any Sid Vicious cds and are really really into him,by all means get this cd.If you're not a die hard fan, just stick to "Sid Sings"."

"This is a great collections of Sid's solo work. Through solo tracks, live shows, and rare demos, it is all in this great collection. It is an audio book of Alan Parkers new book "Vicious: Too Fast to Live : The Authorised Biography Of Sid Vicious" The live tracks in this record is a mixture of songs Sid did at Max's, Kansas City on September 07, 1978. The rest is solo songs of sid, and Rare demo's like "Something else 1st mix", and "My Way take 3". There all different versions of the original songs. Then comes "From beyond the Grave", a radio interview with Sid Vicious. This is a great collection of Sid's songs. The booklet has 4 rare photos of Sid I've never seen. One with just Sid, another with Sid chewing on a bass strap, another with him and nancy, and the last one is with Sid in the "My way" video. It also has a short memory of Sid's life. It also has cuts from Sid's suicide note. I know your looking at me weirdly saying it was a heroin overdose but it turns out it was suicide.

This record might seem a little pricey but believe me it is well worth it. Choose this cd over "Viva Le Rock", which just has terrible recording and just isn't great performances by Sid. If your looking for Sid songs, this is definitley for you. Pick this over any other Sid cd. Must by cd, it is worth ever penny. This cd was created to celebrate the 25th anniversery of Sid Vicious's death, and so along Alan Parker released it along with a book about Sid's life. You may also want to pick up Alan Parkers book, I haven't yet but I hear good things about it. May the story of Sid and Nancy live on and Sid Vicious hopefully will never be forgotten. May John Simon Ritchie R.I.P 1957-1979"
