"Shovelbarn puts everyting into this release. The songs combine elements of metal, groove-core, and hard rock that make this CD impossible not to become addicted to. On top of that, the live shows are amazing. All the guys in the band are very approachable and always hang out to talk with people. If you ever have the chance to see these guys, go out and talk with them. The CD is dead on to how the live performance is."

Very good album once you get used to it

"i got this album about a year ago when it was released by a smaller record company. I really got into tracks like "Rasberry Filth" and "Strychnine TV." When i read that Shovelbarn was putting out their major label debut, i was relaly excited. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the same album i already have but with the tracks in a different order. In any event, this is a really good album if you're into heavy stuff. There's no rap influence here like alot of heavy cds coming out. The singer sounds a bit like layne staley from AIC when he sings, and like a hardcore guy when he screams. He also looks just like me which is frightening. The guitar work and drums are very solid. If you like good, straight up, nu metal like fear factory, sepultura, etc that has a bit of a quirk like primus, check it out!"
