1998 & final album by the diverse post-modern British group. As always, it contains a wide array of sounds, ranging from psychedelic to techno to house with breakbeats, but without ever coming across as pop or totally underground. About halfof the 13 tracks features vocals. A suitably classy swan song for this great band's illustrious career. Contains two versions of the single 'Universal' (187 B.P. Metamix (Minor)& 1999 Dance Vocal). A Moshka Recordings Limited release.

"Though UV is not the Shamen's best work to date, it is still a great display of what works in electronic music. The entire album keeps the listener energized and feeling good. UV is not as dynamic an album as Boss Drum, but sets a good tone with a steady future-house feel. You will not go wrong with this CD."
