"This is another great group out of the UK jazz scene. I do not know why these guys never released in the states, they are one of the best smooth jazz groups that I have ever heard. Because all their stuff are imports, you have to shop around a bit, but if you can find this CD, buy it! This is one of the best compilations I have ever purchased. If you are a smooth jazz fan this is a must have in your collection."

"Always been a fan of Shakatak. Ever since I was a kid, tracks like "Night Birds" have given me a great deal of joy and pleasure. I own several of their records and they always seem to pull it off.

I bought this Ultimate Collection because it compiles many great tracks and also for its K2 mastering: the two discs sound as good as the CD format will allow. If you like Shakatak, the soft jazz genre or if you simply want your feet tapping while you work late hours, I wholeheartedly recommend you take these discs for a spin. These guys were struttin' their stuff, twenty years before Jay K!
